my best friend in the whole world got married 3 weeks ago. i am so happy for her and her new found happiness. to celebrate this babe, i threw her a garden party bridal shower. (which didn't actually happen in the garden because the clouds decided to rain that day, of course).
the party was layered in crisp whites, creamy ivory's , and antique lace for linens. each place setting was set precisely with delicate antique tableware with greek fret details, trimmed in gold.
all of the crystal cut glass vases were given to me by my grandmother, i loved mixing them with the uniquely shaped gold vases i have collected over the years. my dear friend Jenny Bradley helped me style and arrange all the flowers. most of the flowers i purchased at Ensign Floral and then a handful around the neighborhood.
a colorful display of fruits, delicious toppings, and yummy syrups covered the dessert table for a scrumptious meal of home made crepes, by Mckenzi Rodgers. the gold tinted cake was made by Macey's topped with freshly cut pink peonies. Melanie Jones helped with styling.
to go along with the garden theme, i told each girl to come dressed in white to add to the fresh vibe of the party.
